About the Author:

B.T. Nijaguna
is presently serving as Principal, JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore. He received the degree of Master of Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; Master of Applied Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy from University of Toronto, Canada. He has served Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal as Lecturer, Workshop Superintendent, Assistant Professor, Head of the Department, Dean and Principal. After superannuation he worked as Emeritus Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in the Centre of Application of Science and Technology to Rural Areas (ASTRA) before joining JSS Academy of Technical Education. He has also worked in the faculties at Aden University, Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, University of Roorkee and University of Toronto, Canada.
