About the Author:

A.M. Sheela finished her graduation from Mount Carmel College, then joined Bangalore University to complete her post graduation in Economics. She obtained her Ph.D in Economics from Bangalore University in 2001. She did a one year diploma course on system management in computer science from NIIT, Bangalore.Her first stint as a lecturer in economics started at Maharanis College, Bangalore, where she worked as a lecturer for a period of three years. The subjects taught included Business Economics and Indian Economics. During this period she also worked as guest faculty in Mount Carmel institute of management, Bangalore. In 1996 she joined as a full time lecturer in St. Joseph`s College, Bangalore. She is presently working as a lecturer in Reva Institute of Science & Technology Studies.
