About the Author: |
Dr. A. K. Khurana is currently Sr Professor & Head, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO), Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak. The present volume is an outcome of more than thirty years of his active interest in teaching. His other nine books, have also been well received by the medical students and resident doctors in ophthalmology. In addition to his ten books, he has also contributed nine chapters for three postgraduate reference books published from India and abroad. He has been the editor of Haryana Journal of Ophthalmology (HJO) and North Zone Journal of Ophthalmology (NZJO) of India. Dr. Khurana was awarded WHO Fellowship for higher studies at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He was also selected for a study course and awarded `Certificate in Tropical Ophthalmology` at Institute of Ophthalmology, University of London (UK). He has been bestowed with `Distinguished Author Award ` by Federation of Educational Publishers of India.
