About the Author: |
C.P. Kothandaraman, B.E. (Hons.), M.S., Ph.D., FIE., MISTE, starting as lecturer in the department of Mechanical Engineering of P.S.G. College of Technology in 1958, continued to serve the college as Professor, Head of the Department and Vice Principal till his retirement in 1991.
His subject areas include Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery, Thermal Science and Engineering, Solar Energy and Biogas Applications. Since 1985 till his retirement, he also guided in teaching of CAD/CAM subjects.
His other publications are 'Steam Tables' and ' Refrigeration Tables and Charts'. He has co-authored the titles Heat and Mass Transfer Data Book, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery, Thermodynamics and Thermal Engineering, Solid and Fluid Mechanics and Computer Graphics and Design.
He has also provided guidance in the design of Dust Collectors, Air Heaters, and Heat Exchangers for Tea Processing Industry.
