In a sense, water is a weird compound of nature. Man being highly selfish exploiting the natural resource like water and also making water bodies getting polluted. The present work is an attempt to bring awareness among public about the usage of water in limited quantities and save the water for future generations besides recharging the depleting water resources. This book provides the knowledge of multidimensional aspect of aquatic environment which involves the sources, compositions, chemical reactions and transport of water. The chemistry of water exposed to the atmosphere has been quite different from that of water at the bottom of rivers and lakes. One must know the factors which influence this `Water Chemistry` and its movement with the `Eco System`.

About the Author: |
Alla Appa Rao is at present working as senior lecturer in Chemistry in the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He is postgraduate in Chemistry, Sociology and Education from Andhra University. He is a panel member of TRANSALATOR National Book Trust, India. He got Andhra Pradesh State Best Polytechnic Lecturer Award in the year 2000. He is also a member of Institution of Chemistry (India) and wrote many articles on various scientific phenomena published in various journals and magazines. He got M. Phil. from Andhra University and at present doing Ph.D., on learning disabilities in children in Secondary Schools of Andhra Pradesh at Andhra University.
