About the Author: |
J.K. Mitra obtained his M.Com. degree from the Calcutta University in 1988 and stood first in the first class. He took his M.Phil. Degree in Commerce from the Calcutta University in 1990. He is also a Cost Accountant from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). He did his graduation (Grad. C.W.A.) from ICWAI in December, 1989 and obtained certificate of merit. He is an Associate Member of ICWAI. In pursuance of his preference for teaching, he joined as a Lecturer in Bhowanipur Education Society College, Kolkata, in 1990. Subsequently, he joined West Bengal Education Service (W.B.E.S.) in 1991. He was initially posted as a Lecturer in Darjeeling Government College for four years (1991 to 1995). Thereafter, he joined as a Lecturer in Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration, Kolkata, in May, 1995. At present, he has been acting as an Associate Professor in Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (Day Section), Kolkata.
