About the Author: |
Dr. A.B. Saxena obtained his D.Phil. degree in Physics in 1972 from University of Allahabad. Since then he served National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and retired from the post of Principal, Regional Institute of Education, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, a constituent unit of NCERT. He has also served as Principal, Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer and Dean, Faculty of Education, MDS University Ajmer. During his career as educationist and educational administrator, he authored more than 150 research papers, articles, reports and books. His areas of interest are Physics/Science Education and Environmental Education. He has ten more books to his credit. He is also recipient of Shiksha Puraskar from Central Hindi Directorate (MHRD, New Delhi) for his book Paryavaran Shiksha.
