About the Author:

Dr. R. Veerachamy was formerly Professor and Chairman in the Department of Economics, Bangalore University, Bangalore. He has put in 40 years of Postgraduate teaching experience in Quantitative Techniques for both Management and Economics students. His book Quantitative Methods for Economists is very popular text among student community all over the country.

He had obtained his M.Sc. degree in Mathematical Economics from Madurai-Kamaraj University as well as M.A. (Economics) degree also. He is a first rank Gold Medalist in Econometrics. He received his Ph.D. degree in the area of International Business from Bangalore University and has published several research papers in reputed journals. Having vast experience in curriculum development for both Economics and Management courses, presently he is working as Professor and Head in the Department of Management Studies, T. John Business School, Bangalore.
