About the Author: |
Surinder Mohan Uppal, M.A., Ph.D., E.B.S., is a Professor of Mathematics at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya. He has taught Mathematics at graduate and postgraduate level for many years and authored many Mathematics books. He has authored many papers in revered journals. He is one of the most experienced and versatile teacher of Mathematics in Kenya. In recognition of his outstanding and distinguished services to the cause of education in his Excellency, the Presidency Mwai Kibaki conferred him the award and honor of E.B.S., one of the high ranking awards in Kenya.
Romanus Otieno Odhiambo B.Ed., M.Sc., E.M.O.D., Ph.D., is a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya. He is currently the Deputy Vice Chancellor Incharge of academic affairs. He has supervised many M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in the areas of Statistics and Applied Statistics. He has also authored many papers in revered journals.
Henry Murray Humphreys, M.A., M.Sc., Dip. Ed., is a Senior lecturer in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya. He has also taught in other university for several years and authored a series of books for secondary schools and universityu level mathematics.
George Otieno Orwa, B.Sc. M.Sc. M.A., Ph.D., is the Head, Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya. He teaches Statistics and related areas to both graduate and postgraduate students. Till now he has authored 9 papers in revered journals and continues to participate in research very actively. He has supervised several M.Sc. and Ph.D. students.
